The SPAR 5 EX and 5 AXE are installed in the place of a roller, thus eliminating the nip point and the risk of nip point accidents.
The SPAR 5 EX and 5 AXE are made of Polyspar and are designed to replace a roller, thanks to their adjustable brackets. No other changes to your belt installation are necessary.
Product Features:
- The SPAR 5 EX and 5 AXE are made of Polyspar and can replace rollers of all sizes.
- Its Polyspar construction ensures optimum sliding without belt wear.
- Recommended for material sizes of 1-1/4” or less.
- Belt speed must be less than 450 fpm.
- Material dropping height must be less than 36”.
The Spar 5 EX and 5 AXE are made for unsafe areas such as transfer points.
Troughing configuration must conform to belt manufacturer recommendations. Thanks to its good sliding properties, the SPAR 5 EX and 5 AXE will not wear the belt if the belt is clean.
For larger material sizes or material falling froma height greater than 1m, the SPARET or the SPARMAT are recommended.
